The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies on the community.

SASSA is going to be rendering companies for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency said it can be alarmed with regards to the higher range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The purpose in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to sassa status check reach-out to the large range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area daily. The services position established for intervention encounters a substantial inflow of potential beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the office to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to permit the servicing of all clients and improve access to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
